— Welcome to Wikislavia  —
part of confederation of free Slavic encyclopedias where everyone can edit an article or write a new one! Wikislavia is a free online encyclopedia. It was founded by a group of wiki-dissenters, exiled from Russian Wikipedia because of national and POV-persecutions. Wikislavia has inclusionist policies, and it publishes not only articles, but also wikisources and educational materials. The total amount of pages is more than 200 000 and it grows quickly. Wikislavia contains pages in many Slavic and Turkic languages, not only in Russian. Advertisements are allowed, but they must be done in encyclopedic style. You can advertise whatever you want quite for free or try to leave your trace in history! Our collaborators: Metapedia.org

Now we have 290 articles.

WikiKay or Wiki-encyclopedia and Internet library in Croat-Kaykavian

ABSTRACT: This is a new Wiki-Encyclopaedia and Internet-Library in Croatian language, starting from October 2007. It is quite open and free for listening, and also for any further contributing and ameliorating by its bona-fide users. This includes also an open Internet-Library in Croatian with the original authorized contributions in poetry, prose, scientific news and the last discoveries. For difference of Wikipedia, this is not a general pop-wiki in Croatian only - but a special thematic database on internet both in Croatian and English (or other major languages) covering in detail Croatia, Croats, our diaspora and explorers in world, Adriatic sea and islands, Dinaric Alps and calcareous areas in world, Croatian origins and early history, Glagolitic script, and various other topics with Croatian correlations. Most articles have an English subtitle, and longer ones also an Abstract in its first chapter; emigrants and foreigners can write in English. Its prefered language is the classical Croatian, with added subtitles in main dialects (Kaykavian and Chakavian); if an article is in Chakavian or Kaykavian - then it can cover any topic in world. Its leading principles are: total openess, no any censure, the last modern data, true informative reliability, a moral approach - but also the objective elaboration of taboo-topics (elsewhere blurred or eliminated). The false 'neutrality', ideological censure, outdated dogmatism and demagogy, destructive immorality, falsified blurring and erasing, clans domination and outvotings, and other Wikipedian deviations here are excluded. We are not a pop-wiki only, but the serious database library for responsible open education; thus our texts are on 3 levels: 1. Initial new drafts free for anyone anon.; 2. Ripen featured articles for registered edits; 3. Closed review papers by experts only, with red-chess icon in top (guaranteed M.Sc. quality).

Članci takodjer imaju engleski podnaslov, a duži počimaju u prvom poglavlju engleskim sažetkom za strance, dok iseljenici i stranci mogu pisati engleski. U Wikislaviji su ukinuti i nedopustivi: lažna formalna 'neutralnost', zastarjeli dogmatizam, ideološka cenzura, birokratska demagogija, dvolično zamagljivanje i brisanje nepodobnog, klanovsko nadglasavanje i ine nepravilnosti 'wikipedista'.

Included professional-scientific subprojects

Within the main coverage perimeter of this Wiki-encyclopedia (WikiKay), some special thematic groups of our superior interest so far were generally blurred and neglected in Wikipedias and elsewhere because of ignorance or for ideological presumptions. Therefore, besides a general encyclopedia in Croatian-Kaykavian, this Wiki for professional education includes also some special thematic lexicons (lacking elsewhere), to be developed explicitly in details as parallel monographic sub-projects:

  • l. WikiFlora Carsica: biogeographic survey of plants diversity in Croatian calcareous areas (and chiefly in Dinaric Alps).
  • 2. Old-Croat language: early origin and true history of Croatian language prior to Yugoslavia (7th- 18th century).
  • 3. Early Croats: Prehistory, biogenetics, and proto-culture of early Croatian ancestors prior to 7th century
  • 4. For other detailed sub-projects on Croatian coast and Adriatic islands, see also the parallel Adriatic-Chakavian Wikislavia [1].

Welcome in Croatian-Kaykavian Wikislavia, - a free Kaykavian encyclopedia and internet library

Why this Croat-Kaykavian Wikislavia, beside existing Croatian Wikipedia?

Beside yet existing Croatian Wikipedia (nearly 50.000 titles), this second Croatian-Kaykavian Wiki is needed for more reasons:

  • 1. The actual CroWP is a general encyclopedia of the World in Croatian, but special details on Croatia and Croats there are scarce and not accurate: now in Croatian Wikislavias this is the main and cardinal topic (and general topics are present only if linked with Croatia).
  • 2. Many important Croatian topics in CroWP are absent because of overlooking, compromise, taboos, etc. - this will be elaborated in details here.
  • 3. CroWP is unilingual - exclusively in standard SerboCroat, but the needed and important texts for foreigners in major languages on Croatian topics are absent: actual WikiKay is polyglott.
  • 4. CroWP is restricted exclusively in Shtokavian neo-Croat (Serbocroat standard) and any dialects are neglected: now in Wikislavia all dialects are present including Chakavian, Kaykavian, etc.
  • 5. Because of prestige popculture and forcing title numbers, in CroWP occur many incomplete stubs with few rows of general phrases: such aborted mini-texts here are mostly lacking or are included as paragraphs in similar major articles.
  • 6. Because of imposed conservative approach (NPOV), in CroWP are absent: new findings of 21. century, without glossaries, no dialects, nor songs - now being important in our Library-database.
  • 7. The professional quality and scientific veritability of data in CroWP is often dubious or false, being produced by ideological clans and ignorant mediocrities: in actual Wiki, at least for main important topics an expert review is preferred; such ripen papers are marked by red-chess on top.
About Wikislavia and WikiKay

The main Wikislavia started from beginning of 2007; it has together 240.000 articles in dozen languages, being among the major polyglot wikis on internet. This Croat-Kaykavian variant of Wikislavia started from October 2007, and so far it includes 290 articles only: this is too scarce, and therefore we expect your collaboration for improving this new wiki.
